Klaudia and Kelly came this week from the Children’s Kitchen to work with our children in Fox and Hedgehog rooms. The children prepared the food making a noodle dish, cutting and tasting the ingredients whilst developing practical cooking skills and exploring new flavours and textures.
This hands-on cooking experience helps children understand where food comes from, how to prepare it safely, and encourages them to try new foods in a supportive, fun environment. The children gained confidence in using kitchen tools and following instructions whilst working together to create a meal they could share.
Klaudia and Kelly will be returning after the February half term with some more exciting food ideas to prepare and taste. We look forward to welcoming them back!
