Happy New Year
A very warm welcome back to everyone after the Christmas break, We wish you all a very happy and healthy 2024 and a great start to the year.
The staff team are looking forward to settling everyone back into their nursery routines, and playing and learning together as the Winter months move towards Spring.
Staffing Update
We said ‘Goodbye’ to Sam Weakley who left the school in December 2023. Sam was part of the Hedgehog Team in Early Years 3 but has worked across the school for several years. We wish her all the best for the future.
Clair moved back to the Early Years 3 team last term, as Lead Practitioner in the Hedgehog Team and we are also welcoming Amy, a new Lead Practitioner, who is also joining the Hedgehog Team this term.
We place a high value on our relationships with families, and we know how important it is for both you and your child to know who the staff team are that regularly support and work in each room.
We try very hard to avoid changes to staff room teams during the year and apologise if this has felt unclear at times. All regular staff photos are clearly displayed in the rooms – please ask if you are unsure which staff members are supporting your child’s room.
Transitions and New Families
January is always a busy time when we begin to transition children across the school and welcome new children and families for our January intake.
Some children will be moving from Yellow or Red room to Fox or Hedgehog room. If your child is due to move from Under 3s to our Early Years 3 provision staff will be making plans and speaking with you.
