Friday Message – 25th April 2025

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter break and enjoyed the holiday with family and friends. It’s been lovely to see all the children return to Knowle West Nursery School with such enthusiasm and energy!

All of the children have been enjoying the garden, and the weather is expected to be really warm next week. Can parents please remember to cover up children’s arms, send in sun hats, and pack spare clothes for water activities? Sun safety is important, and we want everyone to enjoy the outdoor activities comfortably and safely.

Recently, the children have been immersed in a variety of engaging activities. They’ve enjoyed developing physical skills on our tricycles, exploring water play with colourful containers, creating artwork, and investigating our sand areas. We’ve seen wonderful cooperation at our outdoor water trough, concentration during group learning activities, and plenty of climbing and balancing on our natural wood features. Children have been taking part in activities based on the “Little Red Hen” story, and have explored our tunnel feature decorated with colourful Easter eggs. It’s been heartwarming to see their joy as they experience the pleasant weather in our wonderful garden spaces.

As we move into the summer term, we have many exciting activities planned that will build on the children’s interests and extend their learning. We’ll continue to make the most of our wonderful outdoor spaces as the weather improves.

We’re proud of how well all the children have settled back after the break and how engaged they’ve been in their learning environments. Their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm make every day at Knowle West Nursery School special!
